In this seminar you will watch over the shoulder of leading fashion photographer, Lindsay Adler, as she explains and demos creative lighting setups. You will experience the multiple styles of lighting and modifiers that she uses to create editorials for today’s fashion magazines. Learn how to create everything from a soft and dreamy look to a film noir inspired shot. Lindsay will teach you the most valuable lighting setups that are used in studios today. Learn about soft boxes, reflectors, bounce cards, grids, beauty dishes, creating a silhouette, rim lighting, dramatic lighting, lens flare and much more, all covered in detail. The information is delivered in a clear and direct, jargon free style. Lindsay does not hold back. There are no secrets.

Lindsay will not only demonstrate the technicals of lighting, but will also delve into the creativity behind her shoots. She will discuss the thoughts behind each setup and how to accomplish your vision through the use of correct studio lighting techniques. Bio – Lindsay Adler

Lindsay Adler is a professional portrait and fashion photographer based in New York City. She lives on the Upper West Side and has a studio in the Chelsea area.

Lindsay is a successful fashion photographer, author and educator.

Her editorials have appeared in numerous fashion and photography publications internationally including Bullett Magazine, Zink, Noise, InStyle, Essence, Rangefinder, Professional Photographer and dozens more.

Though only in her twenties, her career and photography have received much acclaim and she has already become a respected name in the industry. Her images have appeared in major publications, advertising campaigns, and billboards in Times Square. She is known for her clean, bold and graphic style that creates memorable imagery used to shape the brands of individuals, corporations and publications.

An author of four books, she is always working on new ways to share her passions and knowledge with others. Whether through apps, DVDs, books or presentations, she is always sharing. You can find her online at Kelby Training, creativeLIVE, Framed Network and more.

Adler is sponsored by a variety of major photography companies and spends a lot of her time traveling to teach workshops and also at major conferences.
