Elevate your portrait work and create glamour images that truly stand out! Join Rick Ferro, one of the nation's leading wedding photographers and a recognized expert in lighting and posing, for an inspiring program designed to help photographers refine their skills and refresh their creative vision.

Spend the day creating dramatic, fashion-inspired glamour portraits using continuous LED lighting. Rick will walk you through his complete process, from lighting and posing to retouching and final image enhancement.

During this hands-on workshop, you'll learn:

• How to transform a simple headshot into a striking portrait using kicker lights, gels, lens selection, and creative lighting techniques.

• The art of hand posing, one of the most overlooked yet critical elements of creating elegant and polished glamour portraits.

• How to direct body language and posing in a way that helps clients feel confident, comfortable, and look their absolute best.

• Rick's techniques for creating movement and drama, including how to make dresses flow and how to use lens choice and camera angles to add impact and energy to your images.

• An updated and streamlined retouching workflow designed to produce beautiful results while saving valuable editing time.

• How to leverage Evoto AI tools to enhance your glamour photography workflow and create professional-quality finished images more efficiently. (As a special bonus, every attendee will receive 30 complimentary Evoto credits to explore the platform and apply what they've learned after the workshop.)

Best of all, we'll be working exclusively with LED lighting, so there's no need to bring flashes or studio strobes.

Rick Ferro, Certified Master Photographer 

In the last forty years, Rick has impacted the photographic community by being one of the leading wedding photographers in the nation. In addition to wedding photography, his clients have included 7-UP, Sprint, the Miami Dolphins, Master Card, and Mercedes Benz. In 1993, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, approached Rick to create for Disney a wedding photography department. He became the Senior Wedding Photographer for Disney and trained their photographers. He was a photographer for ABC’s “Weddings of a Lifetime” and the “Regis & Kathie Lee Show”. Rick currently has photographed “Weddings of a Lifetime” for Disney’s “Free Form” channel.

In 1999 Rick wrote his first book, “Creative Techniques For Lighting and Posing”, published by Amherst Media. Since then, he has had over eight books published in multiple languages.

Rick has an Associate of Science Degree and is a WPPI Master Photographer. He has received his PPA Master Photographer & Craftsman degree from PPA. He has also earned the honor of his images included in the PPA Loan Collection and Showcase Collection. In 2006 Rick received, along with his wife, the United Nations Leadership Award from the International Photographic Council at the United Nations in New York City.
