The Art and Business of Senior Portraits

DATE: Monday, June 9th, 10am - 1pm

Westford Regency Hotel: 219 Littleton Rd,Westford MA 01886

As professional photographers, we are no longer in the business of just creating pretty pictures. Any iPhone can do that. To stand out in 2025, we must go beyond just creating a picture for the yearbook and aim to serve on a deeper level that provides an experience, creates fulfillment, and raises self-esteem. What then follows is the creation of the most meaningful heirlooms amidst one of life’s biggest milestones. This is the dawn of the bird leaving the nest!

Join us as we unlock the secrets to creating exceptional senior portraits while delivering an experience that is sure to leave your seniors feeling empowered and that brings families together. We will cover every step of the client journey, from consultation to the installation of their artwork.

This program will include lots of inspirational imagery with a full breakdown of transformative lighting techniques and essential equipment for every shoot. Chris will describe his process for planning the shoot with his client to create a shared vision. He will share his approach to posing and directing for results that don’t look stiff or awkward. There will even be a portion on products and sales, and how to effectively include digital files while building a thriving business.

This program promises to deliver actionable strategies that photographers can apply across all genres!
