Bio:

Sherrie has been creating art all her life. In later years, photography became her primary interest. She is the recipient of numerous State and Regional Awards including a Fujifilm Masterpiece Award. Since joining PPA in 2018, she she has received several Merit and Loans at IPC and was named a Silver Medalist in 2019 for her Artist case. Sherrie is on track to receive her Master Photography and Master Artist degrees from PPA in January 2022 with her recent sealed Exhibition Merits from PPA NE District 2021. Currently, Sherrie is active in four PPA affiliate organizations in NY from Hudson Valley to the Adirondacks where she relocated to in 2014. She just completed a three year term as President of Capital-Champlain and continues to serve as Newsletter Editor for Hudson Valley Professional Photographers since 2013. Sherrie presently resides in Moreau, NY with her husband after retiring from her position as a licensed financial assistant at a brokerage firm.
