How to Move Your Initial Contact, Consultation and In-Person Sales Online in the Age of Covid19
Just because most of us can not photograph customers right now, it does not mean you can't continue essential business operations.
PPAM members, Stephen Sedman, M.Photog., Cr. and Cassandra Sullivan, M.Photog., Cr. CPP will present a live presentation via zoom on Thursday April 2nd.
Stephen will show you how you can meet with a customer virtually to give the same personalized service and experience that coming to your studio for an initial consultation would. Weather you are booking weddings or events for next year or summer portrait sessions you will want to learn how to continue business online while customers can't come in to meet you. Even before the current crisis Stephen had found many younger customers prefer a virtual meeting to coming into the studio. Stephen will cover the technology and technique he uses to book clients that either can't or won't come in to the studio for that initial consultation.
After that, Cassandra will show you what to do after the session! Cassandra will demonstrate her in-person sales techniques using Proselect and how she has adapted to online live sales. If you have sessions that you have already photographed, but your in-person sales have been put on hold then Cassandra will show you how you can stop waiting for the crisis to end and get back to in person customer sales now.
If you photograph destination portraits in vacation areas you may adopt this technique for all your portraits even after we get back to normal business.
