Sunday June 23rd, 2019 at 5pm (please arrive by 4:45pm) at the Boston Public Gardens by Swan Boats
PPA just concluded the 150 years celebration of its inception this past year, then known as the National Photographic Association. Their very first convention was held on June 1-5, 1869 at the Horticultural Society Boston, on Tremont Street. An image was taken of the participants at the foot bridge of the Boston Public Garden. PPAM would love to recreate this image and respectfully requests your membership participation. We’d love for you to share this information with your members and be a continuing part of history. The 1869 photograph is an historic image and this new one could well sit next to the original for another 150 years. We cordially invite everyone to participate in this Photo Recreation Event scheduled for Sunday June 23, 2019 at 5 pm, in the Boston Public Garden, near the swan boats. Public parking is in the nearby area or at the Boston Commons garage.
