Beauty & Boudoir

This Workshop will cover everything from the initial inquiry through product delivery.
From the moment of first contact, Stephanie will be sharing how she responds and discusses her step by step process from the first time she replies, to the pre-session consult, the session day and the in- person sale. Each step of the way has specific details to make the client experience one that she will say was one of the best of her life. Stephanie shares how she guides them through the experience and to her desired sale.
All details will be discussed about the session day and there will be a live shoot with a model to show attendees how she works, mainly with natural light. Attendees will see how the light is sculpted and manipulated to achieve dramatically different results within the same session.
The post production will cover how to edit efficiently and quickly as well as Stephanie’s logic behind how she is able to cull hundreds of images down to a top 40 or less in a very short time. Retouching will also be discussed and her personal preferences will be presented as well.
Stephanie is a true believer in not presenting images online. Sneak Peeks and In Person Sales will be discussed in detail along with her product lines, vendors and pricing menu.
This will be a day full up with information and fun!
Stephanie Olsen lives and works in Rockland, Ma. She has been married for almost 17 years, has, a 12 year old daughter and 5 hens! She enjoys her vacation home in VT year round as well as traveling to new places and especially loves her peaceful backyard in the summer.
Stephanie attended the NESOP 2 Year Full Time program right out of high school. She majored in Product Advertising photography and minored in Portraiture. After working several years as a full time assistant in Boston’s commercial studios Stephanie went on her own. She has been photographing Weddings and Portraits for the last 20 years. Her studio was built right behind her home about 10 years ago. Over the last 5 years, Stephanie have been transitioning slowly out of weddings and spending more time on beauty and boudoir. She plans to continue to expand in all categories involving women and portraits.
Over the last several years, Stephanie’s involvement with PPA has helped her fine tune my craft and her business greatly. She has truly enjoyed sharing what she does and how she does it with fellow photographers at all levels in their careers.
All PPA member attendees will receive 1 Merit.
