    Hello Everyone,

I wonder if a forum topic like this might be useful.  We probably all get the same seminar announcements, but there might be some members who  might find this useful.

I will start it off with this one:

There is a seminar coming up by Sandy Puc called the Power of Passion, about wedding photography.  The Boston date is Sunday April 3, from 1pm till 7:30pm.  There is a discount promo code of ALU11, that brings the price down to $79.

I'm going, I hope to see you all there.

Excellent Post and idea Jim I would only say to modify the topic and say Local Seminars or Local Happenings so as not to get confused with PPAM sponsored events.

Thank you for your contribution to the Forums.

    Hi All,

I can't wait until the upcoming PPAM convention! Andy has done an outstanding job with the line up of speakers. Where else can you get all this education and social networking than at a great organization like PPAM. We have so much fun and laughs over the three days! This year is even more special for me since I am the PPANE president. I am honored to represent our great state to the PPANE group. I hope you all will join us in Hyannis in April for our new conference time and all the doings going on!!!

Almost any seminar is worth the price of admission.  I am very bummed That I can't make Sandy's and Jerry's seminar in April. If I could I would be the first to sign up. They are both excellent at what they do. I am in awe of both of them.

Our up coming convention will be awesome. Andy and everyone on the board has done an amazing job with it all. I hope to have a front seat to every seminar.

The future seminars of PPAM are going to wonderful.  Bob Davis (April) just rocks with lighting. Lou Freeman (June) has amazing portraits. Hanson Fong (Oct.) on posing. In Jan. we have our own Ed Pedi. I just just love to talk with and listen to him. He always gets me very excited. But the best thing is he teaches us to make money.

I am just so excited about learning with all of these people. Every time I hear these speakers I learn, I get excited and I make more money.

I'm excited for another year of PPAM programming and our awesome conference. I love the PPAM community, programs and collegiality.

Our friends at the ASMP New England Chapter also have a solid lineup of programs. One really good workshop will be held this Thursday night. Details follow if you're interested.

I don't want to post this on our PPAM Facebook page as it's so close in time to one of our programs on 1/20. I hope to be able to join you for Don Chick's "Lighting is Everything." (Pending the outcome of family stuff.)

    Here's a link to ASMP's "Personal Projects" event:  http://asmpne.org/articles/our-own-backyard.html

Again, I may or may not attend because of some family stuff (and oh, being out a car because someone else totaled mine. Minor detail.) Six photographers are presenting. I know three of them. The work and story of two of them really impresses me. (The third I don't know as well.) Most of us have personal projects looking for an outlet. Perhaps this will help give us publication or outlet ideas.

Hope you have a healthy, peaceful, productive, joyful new year. Cheers!
