PPAM Photopalooza 2016

March 20thWeddings and More with Stephen Sedman Cr.Photog.

(Payment must be made upon registration)

Today’s Bride is more visually savvy than ever. She is exposed to more information and more choice than ever before. To be successful in wedding photography today you need to know what your potential customers want and then give them even more. Exceeding expectations is the best way to grow your reputation, your business and your profits. Stephen will show you how to book more weddings, and through efficient workflow have more time to enjoy life. Yes, you can have your cake and eat it too.

Marketing – The secret to marketing is having the products and packages that your clients want and getting them to see them. It sounds really simple, but in practice it takes a lot of effort. Knowing what today’s customers want is the first step. Stephen will share his marketing and sales strategies that keep his calendar full.

Make your clients rave – a detailed look at planning ahead to make the wedding day experience more relaxed for you and your client. This is almost as important as taking great images when it comes to generating referral business, but of course taking great images is important, so Stephen will demonstrate that also.

Flash and other lights - Have you ever taken a picture, looked at the screen and just scratched your head wondering “Why did that happen?” After this program you will know why it’s happening and more importantly, how to fix it. There is no perfect flash system, but if you understand how it works, and where it can fail, you will learn to love your flash. After demystifying using a single flash accurately and creatively, we’ll add two or three more and it will really start to get interesting. We’ll cover manual, auto and ttl multi flash use. Nothing makes your work shine like great lighting. We'll discuss all light sources but concentrate on flash, if you can’t find the light, then bring it with you! This part of the program will include shooting, so bring your cameras.
